Our structure

The Western Sydney Health Alliance is overseen by a Steering Committee, with representation from each member agency. Supporting the Steering Committee are three project groups, each aligned with one of the strategic plan’s key outcome areas.

Key responsibilities of the Steering Committee:

• Project Oversight: Provide guidance and recommendations to ensure WSHA projects stay on track.
• Strategic Direction: Set and lead WSHA’s long-term vision and goals.
• Advocacy: Act on opportunities to influence health policies and issues in line with the WSHA Advocacy Agenda.
• Identifying Emerging Needs: Monitor and address new challenges as they arise.
• Governance: Ensure strong governance and accountability for effective operations.
• Resourcing: Secure funding from partners, grants, and private investments to sustain WSHA’s initiatives.
